Hi there! And welcome to my post about this tag I made for my father in law who celebrated his birthday today. I am now back from his party. We ate good food, and had a cozy time with our family.
I made him a tag this year, and not a card. I am sure it was quite okay, since he is not that super fond of cute cards;)
It is kind of simple, but still I have used some techniques on it.
The tag is cut out from a Sizzix movers and shapers L die - Tag & Bookplates. Around the edges I have stamped with the Weathered Splatter stamp from Stempelglede's collection Grunge Flourish Hearts.
I have also used glue'n seal and some old paper with gothic letters on. First I glued the papers on some spots on the tag. Then I let it dry for some minutes, before I ripped it off. Then some of it is still left on the tag.
The white paint I have used is Crackle Paint - Picket Fence.
As you probably thought, his name is Per. And the letters are cut out from a Sizzix Bigz XL Alphabet die called Word Play, which has large cool letters. Again I have used the Weathered Splatter stamp. The ink I use for the stamps is Memento - Rich Cocoa. On the splatters I have also put on som Crackle Accents. To dstress the edges I have used the Distress Ink pad - Walnut Stain.
The sentiment on the Hanging Sign is from the Stempelglede collection called Gratulerer med dagen (#11: De beste gratulasjoner til deg).
The pattern paper I have used is from Maja Design and the collection Vintage Autumn Basics (XIV). Other paper used are Kraft cardstock and Bazzill - Vanilla.
Here are the stamp collections used:
Thank you so much for visiting the Stempelglede blog!
Hugs, Camilla
Beautiful!
