Hello everyone,
I love receiving handwritten letters and notes...it makes me feel special when someone takes the time to make me a personal card and I love all the different kinds of handwritings too.
You may call me old-fashioned, but I simply love that personal touch!
Did you know it is quite easy and a lot of fun creating your own stationary? And, it really isn't so hard nor time consuming as you might think. Even for beginner stampers it is a great project.
So...
Today I´m showing you a multiple project, containing: a stationary map, stationary, envelops and gift tags.
Except for some old book pages, no patterned paper was used on this project, everything is stamped with the latest release Stempelglede stamps!
It's going to be quite a long blogpost, so grab a cup of coffe or tea and let's get started....
The stationary map:
The stationary map is has the size 16x22x1,5cm and is cut out of 2 A4 sheets of white cardstock.
(I made it a little bigger than A5-size to fit A5 size sheets of stationary).
Since it's made out of 2 pieces of cardstock a piece of grey ribbon was used on the inside of the cover to conseal where I glued the cardstock upon another.
Glossy accents was used for the baby dress and when still wet, a little ultrafine glitter was sprinkled upon.
Distress ink and a distress tool was used to give the map an altered look.
The wings of the butterflies are slightly curled to give them a beautiful 3D-look.
Opening up the map, you see all the goodies inside.
The stationary paper:
Multiple images were stamped on the lower right side of the A5 (copy) paper and colored the images with a pencil. The pages are altered with brown ink on the corners.
The envelopes:
The envelopes are stamped and colored too....
The butterflies are highlighted with some iridescent medium (giving them an ultafine glitter effect) and on the leaves I used some gold paint.
The gift tags:
And finally the gift tags....
I die-cut some smaller Spellbinders templates to uplift the stamped images and glued those upon the tags using 3D foam.
To create this project I used the following Stempelglede stamp sets:
And furthermore:
Distress ink (vintage Photo), Spellbinders dies (Mediallion Seven, Beautiful Locket, Frame One), Derwent pencils, Glossy accents, mulberry flowers, seambinding ribbon, white and blue cardstock, Black Archival ink, Ranger glossy paper, iridescent medium, glue and ribbon
I hope my project is an inspiration to create your own, personal stationary to send notes to dear and loved ones....
I am looking forward to your comments.
Hugs,
Yvonne
